Background
I am an Oklahoma native who was raised and educated in Shawnee. I have practiced law for nine years.
Education and Experience
I am a graduate of Shawnee High School and Oklahoma Baptist University, where I earned my bachelor's degree summa cum laude with honors. After obtaining my juris doctorate from the Vanderbilt University Law School, with honors, I worked as an associate attorney with Fulbright & Jaworski LLP in Houston, Texas, Hartzog, Conger, Cason & Neville in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Baker & McKenzie LLP in Dallas, Texas. I joined the firm and was made partner in 2008.
Practice Concentrations
My practice focuses on general civil litigation, complex commercial litigation, securities litigation, domestic and international arbitration through the AAA, FINRA, the ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, and the LCIA, probate law, corporate law, and oil and gas law.
Bar and Civic Activities
I am the president of the Pottawatomie County Law Library Board. I also serve on the board of directors for the Shawnee Educational Foundation, Harvest Farm, and the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Opera. In addition, I am the Membership Chairman for the Shawnee Rotary Club. As an active member of First Baptist Church of Shawnee, I serve as a Deacon and on the Personnel Committee. I am a past recipient of Oklahoma Baptist University's Graduate of the Last Decade ("GOLD") Award.
Professional Licensures
I am licensed to practice law in all Oklahoma and Texas state courts and the federal district courts for the Western and Northern districts of Oklahoma and the Northern, Eastern, and Southern districts of Texas.
