Background
I am an Oklahoma native and long-time resident of Shawnee. I have practiced law for twenty years.
Education and Experience
I am a graduate of Eufaula High School, Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, and the University of Central Oklahoma. After obtaining my juris doctorate from the Oklahoma City University School of Law, I worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Oklahoma County. I joined the firm in 1990 and was made partner in 1993.
Practice Concentrations
My practice focuses on general civil litigation, wills and trusts, corporate law, real estate law, probate law, municipal law, and oil and gas law.
Bar and Civic Activities
I am a past-president of the Pottawatomie County Bar Association. In addition, I serve on the board of directors for the YMCA and the Kiwanis Club of Shawnee. I also serve as an attorney for the City of Shawnee and the Shawnee Civic and Cultural Development Authority. I am an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Shawnee.
Professional Licensures
I am licensed to practice law in all Oklahoma state courts and the federal district courts for the Western, Northern, and Eastern districts of Oklahoma.
